Everybody either male or female wants a nice and good looking skin. As stated in my earlier post, the skin can never be borrowed once damaged so it is our duty to protect very well. Apart from protecting it, it should be good looking as well just to bring that self confidence in us.
As the saying goes “a sound mind lies in a sound body”, so if your skin is in its perfect shape, it puts your mind to rest. And cuts off the fear of exposing some parts of the body.
Everybody admires a skin that glows and will wish to have it when we see other people with it. Keeping a glowing skin needs a lot of attention and some how some amount of money. But don’t worry so much about the cost involved as the cost to maintain it is nothing compared to when it is damaged.
So here some ways to help you keep a glowing skin.
BOOST YOUR VITAMIN C INTAKE
It is a strong antioxidant that act against free radicals which can cause skin damage. Apart from helping in wound healing, it also help to repair the skin’s damaged DNA and also protect the skin. Apart from eating rich vitamin C rich foods, look for creams that are rich in vitamin C.
WATERMELON
Watermelons are known to contain vitamin B6 and C , lycopene and amino acids which contribute to a healthy skin. It also has antioxidant properties. It also has a lot of water in it and water is known to make about 75% of the human body. So melons helps in preventing dehydration.

TAKE A LOT OF WATER
Water is the medium through which nutrients and waste products are carried into and out of the cells of the body respectively. It also helps in hydrating the organs and cells of the body of which the skin is part. It is recommended that we take in at least 8 glasses of water a day. It can also be gotten from liquid foods such as tea, porridge and in drinks.
BERRIES
Berries have antioxidant properties and it is said to contain vitamin A,C and E which are all beneficial to the skin.
It is known to have anti aging properties thus, dealing with skin wrinkling. It also gives protection to the skin’s collagen to keep it plump and also holds water against the skin to prevent dryness.
Berries can also be mixed with honey and applied on the skin for about 15-20 minutes then wash off later and dry.
KEEP MAKEUP BRUSHES NEAT
It can be washed once every 2-3 weeks to remove dirt, bacteria and loose makeup powder to prevent skin damage or skin diseases.
USE HYALURONIC ACID RICH CREAMS
Use moisturizers that are rich in hyaluronic as this helps to hold water against the skin and preventing skin dryness.
SERUM
Look for serum that are rich in antioxidant as this can sink deeper into the skin layers than the creams. Antioxidants helps to get rid of free radicals that can also cause skin damage or wrinkles.

Thanks Bexa, I hope you had a great weekend.
And how about staying out of the sun…..? Or protecting one’s skin, when in sun?
I’ve done this, all my life, and at 81, I have been rewarded with extremely good skin. No “leather look”… Less wrinkles, and even less laugh lines, than many my age.
And I didn’t smoke either. Ever notice how woman who have smoked, their skin is not in the best condition, when they age…?
Just a thought….
And a question…..
How many times, does one have to comment here, before one is recognized? And we do not have to keep typing in our ‘name’ ’email-addy’ and ‘blog link’?
Having to do this, every time we comment, is off-putting. So I ask the question…
Thanks for the great advice!
You are welcome darling.
These are great tips!! I will make sure to try them. Thanks so much for visiting my blog, I hope you have a great weekend x

There are a few simple steps you can take to achieve this look. First, make sure to get your skin hydrated. Next, use a light-weight serum or moisturizer to help lock in the hydration. Finally, use an SPF to help protect your skin from the sun’s harmful rays. Brain Surgery Adelaide
