One thing I love doing when I’m bored at home is experimenting with makeup. There’s something so enjoyable about sitting in front of your vanity and trying out different looks. But makeup isn’t just fun, it’s also a way to practise and improve your skills. And as the saying goes, “practice makes perfect.”
I remember when it used to take me over 20 minutes just to draw on the perfect eyebrow. But now, after so much practice, I can do both eyebrows in less than a minute! It’s amazing what consistency can achieve.
When it comes to shaping eyebrows, there are countless styles to choose from. However, it’s important to remember that not all shapes suit every face. Different face shapes require different eyebrow styles to truly enhance your features. That’s why it’s essential to research and understand your face shape before settling on an eyebrow look.
For example, people with round faces often find that a more angular arch suits them best, while those with heart-shaped faces might opt for a softer, rounded arch. Knowing your face shape helps you pick an eyebrow style that flatters your natural beauty and highlights your best features.
Lately, I’ve been focusing on perfecting my eye makeup. It’s not just about choosing the right eyeshadow colours, it’s also about using the right brushes to blend properly. And don’t forget to prime your eyelids! Eyeshadow always looks better and lasts longer with a good primer.
With summer just around the corner, I’m excited to try out some bright, colourful eye makeup looks. They’re perfect for the season and a fun way to experiment with bold, vibrant styles. Why not give them a go too?
