Bentonite clay is an odorless, grey-fine powder extracted from the ashes of a volcano. It has an extraordinary component that has led to its use for detoxification for decades and it is still in use.

The components of bentonite clay are calcium, silicon, potassium, iron, and copper.  Bentonite clay is also known as montmorillonite clay. It was originally found in France at Montmorillon where it had its name. Bentonite clay has lots of benefits which does not only help the skin but also our dental health.

It helps to detoxify the skin and helps give a smooth and glowing appearance to the skin.

Honey hydrates the skin and allows essential enzymes to permeate the skin. It moisturizes the skin by reducing dryness and increasing water content.


  • 2 tablespoons of water
  • 1 tablespoon of bentonite clay
  • 1 tablespoon of activated charcoal
  • 1 teaspoon of honey
  • 1 drop of essential oil


Mix all the ingredients in one bowl until you achieve a smooth paste. Apply it to your face and leave it for about 15 minutes. Wash your face thoroughly and dry it.

Mix the bentonite clay, raw honey, and apple cider vinegar in a bowl. Add the aloe vera gel. Apply the mixture to your face and leave it for 10 minutes. Wash it off with lukewarm water.
