Waist training is just a term used to describe the wearing of a waist trainer, an underwear that is meant to reduce your waistline. Waist trainers have been around for centuries, although in the olden days they used to be called corsets.

Corsets just like waist trainers were worn by women to give them an hourglass figure. And the result is instant as it significantly slims your waist immediately you wear it.

Is waist training safe?

Waist trainers are safe to wear, as long as they are breathable and you feel comfortable wearing it. Personally, I’ve worn waist trainers several times especially after giving birth. As they instantly make your tummy look flat.

Also, a waist trainer can give you a great posture when you wear it. Even so, waist trainers are not supposed to be worn all time. As this can weaken your muscles especially if worn too tightly.

Does waist trainer make you lose weight?

Wearing a waist trainer is not going to make you lose weight if you don’t eat right and exercise. Most people just assume that if they have the waist trainer that is all, they can just wear that and they will lose weight.

If you want to lose weight, you have to exercise regularly, and eat healthy. I know, it can be difficult to do these things but if you want that tiny waist, flat tummy body then you have to put in the work.
