Face mask

For people with oily face, milk of magnesia serves as a really good face mask. It shrinks pores and helps to remove excess oil on your face, You can apply milk of magnesia with a cotton ball or your fingers. Leave it on for 10 to 15 minutes and wash with lukewarm water.

Acne and acne scar treatment

Since acne is usually caused by excess oil on the face, milk of magnesia is a really effective treatment for acne. It absorbs the oil on your face and prevents acne breakout. You can use it as a face mask or apply it on a pimple immediately it shows up. It will dry it out and prevent it from getting large.
When used as face mask, milk of magnesia also helps to fade acne scars.

Face primer

When used as a makeup base, milk of magnesia serves as a great primer. It shrinks pores and absorbs oil on the face to give you that matte look. Apply a thin size on to your face using your fingers, brush or cotton. As a primer you don’t need to apply too much so it doesn’t leave a white cast on your face. Just make sure you apply it on the parts that usually gets oily, like the T zone and your cheeks. When milk of magnesia is used as a primer, your makeup stays on all day.

I’ve used this as a primer and it kept my face matte all day. My skin is leaning towards dry from combo so I stopped using it. Great product though.
