Nana Opoku and Stephanie met in her second year at the university which was in 2013 in Ghana.
They started dating shortly after that and in 2016, Stephanie travelled to the states. But the distance couldn’t keep this lovebirds apart.
“4 years long distance, it hasn’t been easy but my husband was so consistent”- says the bride.
They had jomens events plan their wedding and it was so magical. As ghanaians, they had both a traditional ghanaian wedding and then a white wedding.

Ghanaian traditional wedding dress
The bride wore a beautiful pink kente dress designed by Sadia Sanusi. And she got her kente fabric from kente kiosk.
Shoes and accessories
She wore this gorgeous embroidered butterfly wings sandals with open toe and thin straps by Sophia Webster. Which she paired with gold earrings, gold bangles and silver and gold wristwatch.
Bride’s hair and makeup
The brides hair was installed and styled by Anya hair. Beauty perfection makeover also did a gorgeous golden eye makeup look for the bride.
The groom’s cloth
The groom was clothed in fine kente fabric from kente kiosk. which he paired with a silver and gold wristwatch to match his bride.
The bridesmaids
The bridesmaids wore orange mismatched dresses with matching gele.
The groomsmen
The groomsmen wore all white.
Entertainment
For entertainment, these dancers danced adowa – a traditional ghanaian dance to entertain the audience.
