5 Things You Can Do To Make Your Hair Grow Faster

My hair is one thing that I do not joke with. In treating my hair, I give maximum time and apply things that I know will help my hair grow faster and healthier.

Most of us don’t go to the hair salon often, and that’s okay. When it comes to hair care, how you treat your hair at home is more important.

So here are a few things I practice that have helped my hair grow faster and healthy.

How to make your hair grow faster and healthy

1. Apply hair mask

Hair mask is one of the things which is very important for hair growth. You can either use a store-bought hair mask or make one at home with natural ingredients.

Hair mask is very essential to the hair because it restores the hair hydration and moisturizes the hair. How often to use hair mask depends on the type of hair you have.

If your hair is damaged, you can use a hair mask 2 to 3 times in a week. If not, then it can be done once a week. This is with the purpose to hydrate and moisturize your hair. Making this part of your weekly hair care routine will make your hair grow healthier.

2. Shampoo and conditioner

I know for sure how difficult it can be to find the perfect shampoo for your hair type. We all want a shampoo that will help promote hair growth and protect the hair follicles. 

The market of shampoo has expanded therefore new products are introduced day in and day out, and the need to select the right product for your hair is very important.

It is essential to shampoo your hair once every month. If you have dry hair, then you should go for shampoos with castor oil, tea tree oil, or argan oil. If you have very oily hair, try mixing a tablespoon of baking soda with 250ml water and wash your hair with it.

The use of baking soda can make your hair dry and frizzy, so I will only recommend it to people with very oily hair.

Whereas shampooing isn’t recommended to be done often, you can condition your hair as often as you want, depending on your hair type. If you have fine and soft hair, then you can condition your hair once or twice a week. But if you have dry and thick hair, then conditioning can be done daily.

3. Apply oil to your hair

Hair oil stimulates the scalp and promotes hair growth. It also helps the hair to shine. Oils serve as lubricants and help to detangle the hair. Oils are good protectors of the hair from heat.

Put some oil in your palm, rub them together and apply it through your hair. The amount of oil to use depends on the thickness of your hair.

Some oils you can use for your hair include coconut oil, olive oil, aloe vera oil, argan oil, and castor oil.

4. Massaging your scalp

Massaging is very important to every part of the human body and massaging the scalp is very essential for hair growth. You can easily give yourself a scalp massage by applying oil to the hair. After applying oil to your scalp you need to massage your scalp so that it will take effect.

Massaging helps blood circulate around the scalp, this helps to produce more hair follicles and in turn, makes your hair grow faster.

5. Trimming the ends of your hair

Trimming is very important when it comes to hair growth and as such, it is important to include it in your hair care routine. Trimming the hair makes the hair healthier and fuller and also prevents split ends and breakages.
