Green Goddess Smoothie

A vibrant, nutrient-packed smoothie bursting with fresh greens, fruit, and a kick of ginger for a refreshing and energizing boost.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 ripe banana
  • 1 cup spinach or kale or a combination of both
  • 1 small cucumber
  • 1 small apple
  • 1- inch piece of fresh ginger
  • 1 tablespoon chia seeds
  • 1 cup unsweetened almond milk or any plant-based milk of your choice
  • a handful of ice cubes Optional

Method
 

  1. Peel the banana and chop it into smaller pieces.
  2. Wash the spinach/kale, cucumber, apple, and ginger. Remove the skin from the ginger.
  3. Chop the cucumber and apple into smaller, manageable pieces.
  4. In your blender, add in all the ingredients – banana, spinach/kale, cucumber, apple, ginger, chia seeds, almond milk, and ice cubes (if using).
  5. Blend until you achieve a smooth consistency. If the mixture seems too thick, add a little more almond milk or water to thin it out.
  6. Pour your Green Goddess Smoothie into a glass or a to-go cup and enjoy immediately!
