Ingredients

  • 12 Oreos or Double Stuffed Oreos
  • 12 popsicle sticks
  • 12 oz chocolate melting wafers
  • 24 candy eyes
  • 12 red mini M&M's
  • 12 pretzels broken in half
  • 12 red chocolate bows

Method

  1. Melt the chocolate wafers according to the package directions until smooth.
  2. Carefully insert a popsicle stick into the cream filling of each Oreo.
  3. Dip each cookie into the melted chocolate, using a spoon if needed to fully coat.
  4. Place the coated cookies on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
  5. While the chocolate is still wet, press two pretzel halves into the top of each cookie to create antlers.
  6. Add two candy eyes and a red mini M&M for the nose.
  7. Finish with a red chocolate bow.
  8. Refrigerate for 10 minutes, or until the chocolate is fully set.
  9. Serve and enjoy.

Notes

  • Double Stuffed Oreos work best because they hold the popsicle stick more securely.
  • Have all decorations ready before dipping the cookies, as the chocolate sets quickly.
  • White chocolate melting wafers can be used for a different look.
  • Store in an airtight container for up to 5 days.
